We are a Logistics Solution Provider (LSP). While we like dishing our end-to-end solutions, we are not
averse to getting ourselves plugged – in at any stage of the supply chain. As an LSP, we play all the shots
in the coaching manual, but some more as well. To extend the cricketing imagery further, we bat on all
kinds of pitches – from 2PL to 4PL.
We create world class infrastructure, but what we enjoy doing most is to connect with our customers
and to roll out our customized products to service their logistics requirements. Our customers rely on
our ability to dive deep and understand them, inside out, and so we conduct a large part of our business
that has no geographical connect with our facilities.
If we have an anthem, “RAIL” will be its leitmotif, for sure. But, to add one more layer of paradox, rail is
probably just 50% of what we do. We love Railways and believe it should and can be the right mode for
many requirements, yet we love our customers far more and know that Rail cannot fit into every
solution.

Amit’s initiation into Logistics started with the Indian Railways as an IRTS officer of 1992 batch. He worked in South Eastern Railways where he handled railway operations at Ports, Coal Mines, Steel Plants, Power Plants, etc., as Area Head at multiple locations like Talcher, Haldia, Bokaro, Jamsedpur, etc. He also oversaw control operations managing movement of passenger and freight trains at Divisions like Khurda Road, Kharagpur and Adra.
Amit, then, worked on deputation, from the Indian Railways, at CONCOR looking after Domestic rating and operations. He was exposed to terminal operations as well while heading the largest ICD in India during his stint with CONCOR.
Amit resigned from the Government of India in 2006 to join a company that was just setting out to enter the container train operators space. He left this company to set up Pristine in 2009.
Amit has a Bachelor in English Literature from Delhi University.
An IRTS of 1991 batch from the stables of undivided South Eastern Railways, Rajnish resigned from the Government of India in 2006. His professional experience prior to resignation exposed him to rail logistics and commodities such as coal, iron ore, steel, cement, fertilizers, etc. His work encompassed freight and passenger train operations, freight and passenger terminal planning, safety and commercial
aspects of Railways. During the last 5 years with Railways, Rajnish worked in the container logistics industry with the then monopoly Public Sector Undertaking – CONCOR. Here, he was exposed to terminal planning and operations, domestic and EXIM businesses in South and North India.
Post resignation, he joined a leading CFS company to set up their rail foray in 2006. By 2009, when he left, the company was already the leading CTO business in the private sector.
He has Masters in Psychology from Delhi University.
Sanjay is one of the founding promoters of Pristine. He left an active law practice in a law firm, which he had set up in ……………., handing over its reigns to his partners, for his belief in the Pristine road-map. He has a Bachelor in Law from Delhi University.
An IRSE of 1994 batch from the South Eastern Railways, Durgesh has been exposed to almost every conceivable construction and maintenance activity of the Railways.
Before joining the Railways, he worked for a couple of years in MES (Military Engineering Services). Durgesh resigned from Government of India in 2008.
Post resignation, and before joining Pristine as the fourth promoter, Durgesh worked for two Container Train Operators and was responsible for designing and building a total 7 terminals from 2008 to 2012. On joining Pristine, he has built another 3 terminals and adding the terminals that are in the works at Pristine, he, without a doubt, holds that national record for building rail-linked logistics Parks.
He is a B.E (Civil Engg) from IIT, Madras.

Currently with Global Infrastructure Partners India, Mr. Narayanan has more than 18 years of experience across equity investments, project finance and corporate banking in the infrastructure space. Mr. Narayanan has spent more than 16 years with the IDFC group and he has been with IDFC Alternatives since 2010. He has lead setting up of roads platform Highway Concessions One, which currently manages 7 controlled assets aggregating to 500 Km of roads across the country.
Other than the road assets, Narayanan has also been involved with investments in Thermal Power, Logistics and healthcare space.
Within IDFC, Mr. Narayanan has worked earlier with IDFC Project Finance Group and the IDFC Mutual Fund. During his tenor with IDFC in the lending business, he has been involved with Power and Transport sectors. Outside IDFC, he has spent couple of years each with Marico Industries and Standard Chartered Bank.
Mr. Narayanan holds a Degree in Production Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Trichy and a Masters in Business Administration degree from the T. A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal.
Milind Joshi is currently Partner at Global Infrastructure Partners, India (GIP India) which manages over US$ 1.8 billion across two India focussed Infrastructure Funds. Milind was earlier Partner with Infrastructure asset business at IDFC Alternatives which was acquired by GIP India in July, 2018. He is currently responsible for origination and execution of transactions.
He has over twenty four years of experience across operations and investments, principally in the transportation and energy sector and is on the Board of several Infrastructure companies. Prior to joining IDFC Alternatives, Milind headed the Contracts & Commercial division at GMR Delhi International Airport Limited in India. At GMR Group, he worked with the transport group across different functions including project finance, commercial and contracts. Prior to GMR, Milind worked at Tata Power and Powergen India, where he was involved in several acquisitions and financing initiatives.
Milind started his professional career at ICICI Limited in 1994 where he was a core member of the infrastructure business and managed a portfolio of over fifteen companies in the infrastructure space.
Milind holds a Masters in Business Administration from Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata and a Degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Mayank Bansal is currently Director at Global Infrastructure Partners, India (GIP India) which manages over US$ 1.8 billion across two India focussed Infrastructure Funds. Mayank was earlier Director with Infrastructure asset business at IDFC Alternatives which was acquired by GIP India in July, 2018. He has over fourteen years of experience in investing (including debt and equity) and consulting in infrastructure sectors like roads, power, healthcare, logistics, telecom etc.
Prior to joining IDFC Alternatives, Mayank has worked with Ernst and Young and SBI Capital Markets where he worked on multiple assignments across infrastructure verticals in bidding for projects, raising capital, divestments and consulting.
Mayank holds a Masters in Business Administration from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon and a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
